IPL 2022: Miller, Tewatia Guide GT To A 6 Wicket Win Against RCB

GT vs RCB IPL 2022: Gujarat Titans were powered yet again by their lower middle order, defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets. 

David Miller scored an unbeaten 39 runs in 24 balls while Rahul Tewatia scored unbeaten 43 runs in 25 balls to take GT across the finishing line with 3 deliveries in hand. 

For RCB, spinners Shahbaz Ahmed & Wanindu Hasaranga managed 2 wickets each. 

In the first innings, Virat Kohli registered himself amongst runs and scored a fifty along with Rajat Patidar's fifty to help Royal Challengers Bangalore to a total of 170/6 in 20 overs against Gujarat Titans.

While opening the innings, Kohli scored 58 runs in 53 balls with 6 fours and a six after his opening partner and captain Faf du Plessis was dismissed for a duck. Patidar also scored 52 runs in 32 balls as he etched a partnership of 99 runs in 74 balls with Virat. 

For GT, Pradeep Sangwan, playing his first game after 2018, picked up 2 wickets while Mohammad Shami, Lockie Ferguson, Alzarri Joseph & Rashid Khan managed 1 wicket each. 

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis won the toss & opted to bat first against Gujarat Titans in the 43rd match of IPL 2022. This match is being played at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
