IPL 2022: Hasaranga's 5-fer Helps RCB To 67 Run Win Against SRH

SRH vs RCB IPL 2022: Spinner Wanindu Hasaranga picked up a 5-fer as Royal Challengers Bangalore thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad by 67 runs. 

Hasaranga picked up 5 wickets in his 4 overs, giving away just 18 runs along with a maiden. Apart from the spinner, Josh Hazlewood picked up 2 wickets while Glenn Maxwell & Harshal Patel managed 1 wicket each. 

For SRH, Rahul Tripathi was the top scorer with 58 runs in 37 balls including 6 fours & 2 sixes. Apart from him none of the batters crossed the 25-run mark. 

In the first innings, Faf du Plessis played a captain's knock as he powered his team, Royal Challengers Bangalore to a total of 192/3 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

After opening the innings and losing Kohli on the first delivery, Faf du Plessis smacked an unbeaten 73 runs in 58 balls with 8 fours & 2 sixes. Batting at #3, Rajat Patidar also played a good knock of 48 runs in 38 balls with 4 fours & 2 sixes.

Maxwell scored 33 runs in 24 balls while DK finished with a fantastic 30 runs in 8 balls including 3 sixes & a four in the last over.

For SRH, J. Suchith was the pick of bowlers with 2 wickets in 4 overs. Kartik Tyagi also managed 1 wicket. 

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis won the toss & opted to bat first against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 54th match of IPL 2022. This match is being played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
