CSK vs DC IPL 2022: With the help of a tremendous bowling performance, defending champions Chennai Super Kings registered a 91 run win against Delhi Capitals.

Moeen Ali was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets in 4 overs for just 13 runs. Youngsters Mukesh Choudhary & Simarjeet Singh picked up 2 wickets each while Maheesh Theekshana managed 1 wicket.

For DC, Mitchell Marsh was the top scorer with 25 runs in 20 balls with 3 fours & a six. Shardul Thakur played a knock of 24 runs in 19 balls. Captain Rishabh Pant scored 21 while none of the other batters managed to cross the double-digit mark.

In the first innings, After yet another 100+ run opening stand between Ruturaj Gaikwad & Devon Conway, Chennai Super Kings posted a huge total of 208/6 in 20 overs against Delhi Capitals.

Conway scored 87 runs in 49 balls with 7 fours & 5 sixes & Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 41 runs in 33 balls with 4 fours & a six as these two etched a partnership of 110 runs in 67 balls for the first wicket.

Shivam Dube and MS Dhoni played glitzy knocks. Dube smacked 32 runs in 19 balls with 2 fours & 2 sixes. MS Dhoni smacked an unbeaten 21 runs in 8 balls with 1 four & 2 sixes, providing an excellent finish.

For DC, Anrich Nortje picked up 3 wickets, Khaleel Ahmed picked up 2 wickets while Mitchell Marsh managed 1 wicket.

Earlier, DC captain Rishabh Pant won the toss & opted to bowl first against CSK in the 55th match. This match is being played at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai.
