KL Rahul (60*) scored a fifty, and he along with Mayank Agarwal (25) provided an opening partnership of 53 to ease their chase. Chris Gayle (43*) played a good hand to win the game for PBKS with 15 balls remaining.

In the first innings, MI, after losing first two wickets early, managed to post 131/6 against PBKS. For MI, Rohit Sharma scored 63 runs and had a partnership of 79 runs for the 3rd wicket with Suryakumar Yadav (33). For PBKS, Ravi Bishnoi & Mohammad Shami picked up 2 wickets each.
