Mohammed Siraj grabbed the first wicket as he dismissed opener Najmul Hossain Shanto was dismissed on the first ball of the innings. Bangladesh kept losing wickets at regular intervals, as Kuldeep Yadav grabbed 4 wickets in his first 6 overs. None of the batters were able to cross the 30-run mark for the hosts.
For India, while Kuldeep Yadav picked up 4 wickets, Siraj also managed 3 wickets. Umesh Yadav also registered a wicket to his name.
