Ashwin Picks 6 As England Bowled Out For 178

Ravichandran Ashwin picked up six wickets to bowl England out for 178 in the second session of day 4. 

England did not enforce the follow-on after bowling India out earlier in the day with a lead of 241 and could only manage to add 178 to it. India will need to chase a target of 420 to win the first test here at Chennai. 

Joe Root top-scored with a quickfire 40 off 32 balls. The rest of the English batsmen weren't able to either attack or defend comfortably as India bowled tight lines and pitch did a bit of tricks.
