World Super League: Updated Points Table After IRE vs NZ 2nd ODI On July 12

New Zealand are the only unbeaten team in this cycle of the World Super League and have moved up 5 positions on the points table after the 2nd ODI against Ireland.

The New Zealand team moved up from the 10th position to the 5th position after winning the first two ODIs against Ireland. The Kiwis are the only team who are yet to be defeated in the cycle of ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, with 8 wins in all 8 matches and 80 points to their name. 

Ireland, on the other hand, are still outside the top 8 with two consecutive losses and are occupying the 9th spot on the points table with 6 wins and 12 losses in 20 matches, accumulating 68 points to their name.

In both the first & second ODI, Ireland were almost on the brink of victory. However, Michael Bracewell attained the win for the Black Caps in both matches. In the first ODI, Harry Tector powered Ireland to 300/9 in 50 overs with his knock of 113 runs in 117 balls with 14 fours & 3 sixes. 

However, Michael Bracewell scored an unbeaten 127 runs off just 82 balls, plundering 20 runs in the 50th over to take New Zealand to a wicket win with just one delivery in hand. In the second ODI, New Zealand were off to a shaky start to the chase despite Finn Allen's 60 and Tom Latham's 55. In the end, Bracewell scored an unbeaten 42 off 40 balls with 3 fours & 3 sixes, taking New Zealand to the target of 217 with 3 wickets and 11.5 overs in hand.
