June 21, Barbados (CRICKETNMORE): Superb batting performances from Steve Smith (78) and Mitchell Marsh (79*) helped Australia to enter into tri-series final with a six-wicket victory over the West Indies on Tuesday evening at the Kensington Oval. Host West Indies and South Africa now battle out for the other spot in the final league tie on Friday.

Australia, the defending World Cup champion, chased down its target of 283 with eight balls to spare. In the end, Glenn Maxwell smashed 46 not out of just 26 deliveries that contained five fours and two sixes.
 
Earlier, West Indies scored 282/7 in 50 overs. Marlon Samuels scored his 10th ODI century (125). He along with Denesh Ramdin (91) added 192 runs for the fourth-wicket alliance of 192.
