India Vs West Indies ()
Dubai, Oct 12 (IANS) The West Indies have been fined for a minimum over-rate breach of the ICC Code of Conduct during the second One-Day International (ODI) against India in New Delhi, an ICC statement said Sunday.
Jeff Crowe of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees imposed the fines after the side, led by Dwayne Bravo, was ruled to be two overs short of its target when time allowances were taken into consideration.
In accordance with the regulations of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel governing minor over-rate offences, players are fined 10 percent of their match fees for every over their side fails to bowl in the allotted time, with the captain fined double that amount.
