Bridgetown, May 1 (Cricketnmore) An unbeaten second Test century by Roston Chase helped the West Indies score 286/6 on the opening day of the second Test against Pakistan at Kensington Oval here.
After their top-order failed to deliver on Sunday night, Chase (131 not out) and Jason Holder (58 not out) joined hands and forged an unbeaten 132-run record seventh-wicket partnership.
When umpires dislodged the bails for the day, Chase had played 207 balls and hit 17 boundaries. Holder, a little less assured, had reached 58, having faced 125 deliveries and struck eight fours.
