Marlon Samuels reported for suspect bowling action ()
Colombo, October 19 - West Indies all-rounder Marlon Samuels has been reported for a suspect bowling action following the tourists' crushing first Test loss to Sri Lanka last week.
The match officials' report cited concerns about the legality of the 34-year-old's bowling action during the Galle Test which the West Indies lost by an innings and six runs on Saturday, reported cricket.com.au on Monday.
Samuels took 1/84 from 27 overs in Sri Lanka's first innings of 484, removing opener Dimuth Karunaratne. Samuels' bowling action will now be scrutinised further under the International Cricket Council's (ICC) process relating to suspected illegal bowling actions reported.
