WATCH: Yasir Shah Reminds Cricketing World Of Shane Warne; Bowls Potential 'Ball Of The Century'

On day 3 of the first test match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Yasir Shah's magical delivery reminded the fans of legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne.

SL vs PAK 1st test: The first test match being played between Sri Lanka and Pakistan is at an exciting point. After a mere 4-run gap between the two teams after the first innings, Sri Lanka have set a target of 342 runs against Pakistan to win the match. Amidst this, a superb delivery was witnessed on day 3 which is being termed by fans and commentators as the 'ball of the century'. 

This delivery, bowled by Pakistani spinner Yasir Shah, dazzled Sri Lankan batter Kusal Mendis. Mendis had scored 76 runs and was inching swiftly towards a century. However, in the 56th over of Sri Lanka's inning, a magical delivery was bowled, reminding the cricket world of the legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne.

After this delivery by Yasir Shah pitched outside the leg stump, the ball took a sharp turn and went on to hit the top of off stump, dislodging the bails into the air. The unbelievable turn on the ball left everyone shell-shocked while the Pakistani bowler was roaring in joy. A video of the same has surfaced on social media which is being liked in numbers by the fans, some also terming it as the 'ball of the century'. 

Shane Warne, the legendary Australian leg spinner and the second highest wicket-taker in test cricket history, had bowled the 'ball of the century' on June 4, 1993, against English batter Mike Gatting. It was a similar delivery which pitched outside the leg stump line against the right-hander but took a sharp turn to dislodge the top of the off stump. This was the first delivery by Shane Warne in England in international test cricket.

While talking about the first test match, Pakistan are at 128/2 in the fourth innings on day 4. The tourists required 214 runs more to win the first test. Abdullah Shafique (70*) and Babar Azam (15*) are at the crease. Ramesh Mendis and Prabath Jayasuriya have managed 1 wicket each for the hosts. Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne won the toss & opted to bat first against Pakistan. This match is being played at Galle International Stadium, Galle.
