The thing about sports is almost every player gets a tag when he/she plays long enough. In cricket, too, the players have been allotted several kinds of tags that go along with them to build a character sketch (which may or may not be actually true for the player but that's how tags work, right?).

Whenever you hear the name Rahul Dravid, you'll always hear someone whisper 'The Wall', why? you ask. It is because of how brilliant his technique was while batting in the test matches, breaking and tiring down bowlers with his defense, and then latching on to the loose ball.

However, Dravid also played quite a lot of limited-overs cricket and he was pretty good at it. Despite his 'The Wall' like character sketch, the batter used to smack the bowlers quite brilliantly. Dravid had all the shots a batter needs to have and he used them to perfection.

During India vs England 2006 ODI series, the 2nd match saw Dravid the hard-hitting batter in full control. In the slog overs, Dravid pulled out a flat six out of his sleeve that left everyone amused and a fan's drink destroyed.

It was in the 49th over when Dravid backed away to give himself some room and carved a length from James Anderson flat towards the point and it was so brilliantly timed that the flat shot went over the ropes and straight into a fan's drink.

The ball hit a fan's glass and everything in it got spilled all over him. Yet it was fun, for the fans, for the Indians cheering, and for the Indian team's cause. Dravid finished that inning with 92 not out in just 63 balls as India posted 329 runs and managed to win the game by nine runs.
