WATCH: Virat Kohli's Special Gesture To Team India's Unofficial 12th Man
Virat Kohli gifted Dharmveer Pal, India's unofficial 12th man, T-shirts as a special gesture.
The first test match between India and Sri Lanka was a special game where Virat Kohli was playing his 100th test. The BCCI and the Indian team management tried to make sure Kohli was given the reception he deserved during the game.
At first, the crowds were not allowed but the BCCI opened the gates for the fans in the final minute so they could see the most successful test captain playing the match. Virat was given his 100th test cap from Rahul Dravid and new Indian captain Rohit Sharma gave him the guard of honor before entering the field.
While so much happened for Kohli during the test which India finished in three days, he made sure to give it back to the Indian cricket fans.
One such special fan of the team is Dharmveer Pal. He travels along with the team for most matches throughout India and even on foreign tours sometimes. Dharmveer is also known as the unofficial 12th man of the Indian cricket team.
