ENG vs IND 3rd T20I: There haven't been these many eyes on an individual player ever before Virat Kohli's century drought began. The player has been constantly struggling to score big, and all eyes were on him after he replaced in form Deepak Hooda in the 2nd T20I. The batter scored 1 run in the 2nd T20I and was yet again dismissed cheaply in the 3rd T20I after glimpses of his shots from his peak.

Chasing a massive target of 216, India lost opener Rishabh Pant (1) on the first delivery of the second over itself. Out came Virat Kohli, with a burden of pressure carried by no other, to help the Indian team to a clean sweep win in the T20I series. The former captain displayed a new aggressive approach, but his innings lasted just 6 balls.

David Willey was bowling the 3rd over of the Indian innings. On the second delivery, Kohli displayed his special shot and flicked it over mid-wicket for a four while using his feet. A traditional bottom-handed pick-up flick gave fans hopes that maybe the 'Chase Master' is back at it.

On the next delivery, Kohli displayed excellent timing. Willey pitched it further up and Kohli just swung through the line, holding his pose and smoking it into the sightscreen for a six.

However, on the next delivery, Virat Kohli showed what can be termed as an overdose of intent. Chasing 216, Virat tried for a third consecutive boundary as he stepped out and slapped a wide-length delivery to the fielder at short extra cover. Jason Roy completed the catch with a reverse cup comfortably as Virat departed after scoring 11 runs in 6 balls with a four & a six.
