SL vs AUS - In the 2-match test series between Sri Lanka and Australia, the second test is being played in Galle Stadium. Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss in this match & opted to bat first, after which Marnus Labuschagne's maiden away ton and Steve Smith's first ton in 18 months, the tourists posted a total of 364 runs in the first innings. On the first day of play, there was an incident where Steven Smith was taken by surprise and appreciated the bowler in a hilarious way.

Amidst this, when Steve Smith was against Prabhat and the spinner showed his magic as he took one of the best test batters by surprise with his spin.

This happened in the 77th over of the Australian innings. Steve Smith had faced 166 deliveries till then and had scored 81 runs. Prabhat Jayasuriya pitched the delivery in the line of the stumps. 

Well-set on the crease, Steve Smith tried to defend this delivery, but the left-arm spinner's delivery took a sharp turn towards the off side after pitching. The ball passed fairly close to Smith's bat's outside edge. Smith was completely taken aback by this and instantly showed the bowler a thumbs up for the delivery.
