IPL 2022 CSK vs KKR: Chennai Super Kings are playing against Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening match of the IPL 2022. Kolkata Knight Riders have played Sheldon Jackson as their wicketkeeper despite Sam Billings being in the playing XI. And the 35-year old Jackson went on to prove his worth to the KKR team management.
CSK batter Robin Uthappa looked in excellent touch but was stumped out in an effort to take on KKR mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy. On the last ball of the 7th over being bowled by Varun Chakravarthy, Uthappa went overbalance trying to flick the ball. The ball went down the leg side and Sheldon Jackson showed lightning-quick work as he dislodged Uthappa's bails.
Sheldon proved his skills and has forced everyone into thinking as to whether it was the right decision by KKR to bench the 35-year for the whole season. A video of the same has surfaced on social media and is being liked by cricket fans in numbers. This was the third wicket to fall for the defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the opening match of the IPL 2022.
