Riyan Parag's Shot Almost Killed Jimmy Neesham During Nets Session.

Bowling in T20 cricket is tough and dangerous. The batters try to add extra power in almost all the shots they hit which can be disastrous for a bowler, who is in his follow-through. The straight hit becomes very tough to field for the bowler and the only thing they can do is duck and save themselves. 

Riyan Parag is seen to have a lot of potential in him, that's why he has been a regular feature for Rajasthan Royals' playing XI for the last two seasons. He's given the role of finisher where he has to power hit the ball every time he sees one coming towards him. 

Parag has been practicing hard in the nets and it seems that he has added immense power in his forearms to make life difficult for the bowlers. 

During the recent nets session of RR, Jimmy Neesham was bowling to Parag and one shot from his bat almost missed the Kiwi allrounder's face. It was a brutal hit and could have been very dangerous if it had hit Neesham. 

Jimmy Neesham shared the video of the incident on his Instagram story where he wrote, "I would hereby like to announce my retirement from... bowling to Riyan Parag in the nets."

Rajasthan Royals' next match is against Lucknow Super Giants on 10th April at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. RR has won two out of three games. Parag has scored just 17 runs in two innings in IPL 2022 while Neesham is yet to play a game this season.
