Pondicherry T10 League: Even though Indians were sceptical about the shorter format (T20) at the start, the country has evolved into loving the shorter format to the limits. In the 10-over per side Pondicherry T10, a rather unknown Krishna Pandey caught the limelight as he smacked six 6s in an over in a match while batting at a strike rate of 400+ in 19 deliveries.
Chasing a humongous target of 158 set by Patriots, Royals were at 41/1 in 5 overs, requiring another 117 runs in 30 deliveries. Nitesh Thakur came on to bowl the 6th over for the Royals, while Krishna Pandey was on strike with only one run to his name in one delivery.
The batter went on to smack all the deliveries for the over for a six, collecting 36 runs off the over. Krishna showed his strength with a horizontal bat as he dispatched short & good length deliveries outside off towards the long-on area for the maximum. The fuller length deliveries were also sent in the same area for a maximum.
