Kieron Pollard is one of the all time great T20 allrounders. His dynamic skills in all departments of the game make him a complete cricketer. But the age even catches up with the best players and Pollard too has come under its radar. 

In the last few years, Pollard has restricted his bowling and only comes on when the team requires him badly with the ball. 

One of the key things about his bowling has been his variations. Pollard's slow and lazy runup combined with variations made him very hard to hit. 

Now, Pollard has made use of his skills in bowling off-spin. During the Scarlet Ibis Scorchers vs Soca King in Trinidad's T10 Blast, Pollard got himself on in the fourth over when openers Leonardo Julien and Sunil Narine were on fire. 

Scorchers' Pollard bowled off-spin to Julien, who was on 24 off 13 balls. The West Indian captain invited him to smack him as well and Julien took the bait. Pollard's off-spin gamble turned out to be successful and Julien got bowled to give Scorchers the breakthrough they badly needed.
