RR vs KKR IPL 2022: An excellent fielding effort is always appreciated by cricketing gans. Ever since the rise in the T20 format, a 'relay catch' has been witnessed at times, a catch where two fielders partner up to deprive the batter of a boundary and his wicket. KKR pacers Pat Cummins & Shivam Mavi displayed a similar fielding effort to dismiss RR's Riyan Parag. 

After Buttler smacked his second ton of IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals were in a good position at 189/3 in 17 overs while batting first. Shimron Hetmyer and Riyan Parag were at the crease for Rajasthan Royals, in an effort to provide an excellent finish to put up a mammoth total. 

Kolkata's mystery spinner Sunil Narine came on to bowl the 18th over. On the first delivery, Narine delivered a full-length delivery around the stumps and was lofted heavily by Riyan Parag towards long-off. Pat Cummins ran towards the long-off fence and managed to take the catch overhead on his right but was definitely going into the boundary line due to imbalance and momentum. 

Cummins displayed an excellent presence of mind as he tossed the ball towards Shivam Mavi, who was running in from long on. The young KKR pacer jumped in the air to take a one-hander with his right hand, completing the relay catch, Riyan Parag was dismissed after scoring just 5 runs in 3 balls, including a four. 

Talking about the match, Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss & opted to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals in the 30th match of IPL 2022. Jos Buttler's second ton of the season powered RR to a huge total of 217/5 in 20 overs. This match is being played at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
