LSG vs RCB IPL 2022 - Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a target of 208 runs against Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator match of IPL 2022. In this match, star-batter Virat Kohli yet again failed in making a major contribution to the team's cause. Avesh Khan dismissed the 33-year old batter and sent him back to the pavilion, and then displayed an animated playoff. A video of the same has surfaced on social media.

Virat Kohli played a knock of 25 runs in 24 deliveries in this match, scoring a mere two boundaries in the innings while opening for RCB. Man of the match in the last game for RCB, Virat Kohli had an ordinary strike rate of around 100 in this knock-out match, which didn't help the team in any way on a high scoring venue.

Avesh Khan bowled a bouncer to Virat Kohli which dismissed the batter, and then indulged in an aggressive send-off towards the senior player. Avesh was seen clapping his hands hard while looking at Kohli, who was going back to the dugout.

This happened in the 9th over of RCB's batting inning. Avesh bowled a short length delivery on the 3rd bowl which was upper cut by Virat Kohli in an effort to cross the boundary over third man. However, the lack of power resulted in the ball not travelling the distance, and was caught out by Mohsin Khan at third man.

Virat was unable to believe his dismissal for a bit, and was seen standing still on the pitch in disbelief. During this, Avesh Khan seemed enthusiastic with this important wicket in a crucial match and was caught on camera while clapping his hands extra hard at the big wicket. This can be because he was earlier flicked for a beautiful boundary by Virat.
