Wasim Akram advises PCB against boycotting World T20 in India ()
Karachi, December 14 - Pakistan legend Wasim Akram on Sunday advised the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) against boycotting the World T20 Championships which is scheduled to take place in India next year.
"The World T20 is an ICC event and we should participate in it at all costs. If we don't it will harm us in the long run. Not playing in the World T20 will only affect our players and our cricket," Akram told reporters here.
Akram also said that India's delay in giving a green-light to the bilateral series should not be an issue for his country competing in the world event but added the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) should also give a clear answer if they would play series or not.
