In the ongoing 15th match of the T20 World Cup 2021 where Sri Lanka is taking on Bangladesh, Bangladesh being put in to bat first are right now in a comfortable position as their skipper had said at the toss that they were looking to bat first. However, things got ugly in the Bangladesh innings, between Sri Lanka's Lahiru Kumara & Bangladesh's Liton Das.
In the 6th over, on the 5th ball, Kumara delivered a full pitched delivery, on which Liton Das shimmied down the track and moved leg-side in an attempt to go over mid-off. He made decent contact but didn't get the necessary elevation. Shanaka, at the edge of the circle, took an overhead catch before the drama unfolded.
Just after the wicket, Kumara was seen saying something to Liton Das, which was followed by Sri Lankan players & the umpires separating the two. It looked like the tension was high as this is a very important match for both the teams who are in the group of death.
