However, things got ugly in the Bangladesh innings, between Sri Lanka's Lahiru Kumara & Bangladesh's Liton Das.
In the 6th over, on the 5th ball, Kumara delivered a full pitched delivery, on which Liton Das shimmied down the track and moved leg-side in an attempt to go over mid-off. He made decent contact but didn't get the necessary elevation. Shanaka, at the edge of the circle, took an overhead catch before the drama unfolded.
