VIDEO: Shaheen Afridi Attacks Bangla Batter Afif Hossain After Getting Smashed For Six

In the ongoing 2nd T20I match between Bangladesh & Pakistan, Bangladesh batting first, got off to a disastrous start as they lost two wickets inside the first two overs. In the third over, Shaheen Afridi got smacked for a six by Afif Hossain. The very next delivery, Afridi did something that left Afif Hossain in pain. 

On the 2nd delivery of the 3rd over, Afif flicked a gentle leg-stump half-volley for half a dozen runs. Shaheen Afridi seemed frustrated at this delivery. On the very next delivery, Afif pushed back a good length delivery towards the bowler. Shaheen picked up the ball and threw it with all his might towards the striker.

The ball hit Afif Hossain on the lower part of his leg, and the impact seemed to be painful. He immediatley fell to the ground. Bangladeshi physio immediately rushed to the middle to tend to the batter. However, after a few moments, Afif Hossain got up and continued batting with a smile. Afif went on to score 20 off 21 balls with 1 four. 

Shaheen Afridi immediately apologized to the batter after throwing the ball at him. He went ahead to help him & check on him but the fact that Shaheen was frustrated by the smack he had received on the previous ball and just couldn't control his anger while throwing the ball at the batter. 

Talking about the match - Bangladesh after winning the toss & batting first - are restricted to 108/7 in 20 overs by Pakistan. Shaheen Afridi & Shadab Khan picked up 2 wickets each while Wasim Jr., Haris Rauf & Mohammad Nawaz picked up 1 wicket each. Shanto remained the highest scorer for Bangladesh with 40 runs off 34 balls with 5 fours.

Pakistan now needs 109 runs in 20 overs to build an unassailable lead in the 3-match T20I series. This match is being played at Shere Bangla Stadium, Dhaka.
