In the ongoing 1st T20I match between Bangladesh & Pakistan at Dhaka, the hosts after winning the toss & opting to bat first, set a target of 128 in front of World Cup 2021 semi-finalists Pakistan. Shoaib Malik, while batting, was run out in a bizarre way that has left the internet laughing in pieces. 

On the last ball of the 6th over, Mustafizur bowled a good length delivery, which took Malik's bat's inside edge and bounced to the keeper. Shoaib Malik was very casual and extremely lazy while getting back to the crease. He went inside the crease but didn't put his bat on the ground until it was too late. 

Malik took it too easy, and the Bangla wicketkeeper Nurul Hussain saw a chance. He threw it down the stumps with the bat still in air. Shoaib Malik was adjudged out and was left disappointed. Malik's wicket was the 4th wicket loss for Pakistan at a score of 24, and are struggling right now to score runs and save their wickets at the same time.

While writing this piece, Pakistan are at 40/4 in 10 overs with Fakhar Zaman and Khushdil Shah at the crease. Pakistan need another 88 off 60 balls to win this match. This is the first T20I match of 3 match series between these two sides. The match is being played at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka.
