Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina made his comeback to cricket after more than 600 days and scored an impressive 56 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. However, despite scoring a fifty, he failed to chase a target of 135 set by Punjab.

Raina remained unbeaten on 56 off 50 balls but Uttar Pradesh remained short of 11 runs of the target. He didn't get much support from the other end after a good opening stand from Dhruv Jhurel and Madhav Kaushik.
