UP Warriorz registered a dominating 10-wicket win in their last match as captain Alyssa Healy finally gained form, smacking an unbeaten 96 runs off 47 balls with 18 fours & a six. UP made a change in their top order as Devika Vaidya was promoted to open ahead of Shweta Sehrawat, and the 25-year-old remained unbeaten on 36 runs in 31 balls. Tahlia McGrath, who scored 90* runs in the match before, didn't get a chance to bat in the last match and could be UP's best bet against MI bowling. 

In the bowling department, the spinners held the mantle as Sophie Ecclestone and Deepti Sharma grabbed 4 and 3 wickets respectively in the last match to bowl out the opposition for a low total. Both spinners were thrashed brutally and had an economy rate of more than 10 in the match before, but made a good comeback in the last match to help UP to their 2nd win in the WPL 2023. Ecclestone has 7 wickets in the tournament so far and is only behind MI spinner Saika Ishaque. 

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians have been absolutely dominant in the WPL so far and have remained unbeaten in the 3 matches they've played. Yastika Bhatia, who had poor outings with the bat in the first two matches, finally showed form in the last match as she scored 41 runs off 32 balls with 8 fours. Hayley Matthews has also been in good form at the top of the order while Natalie Sciver-Brunt has remained consistent in the middle order. 

In the bowling department, left-arm spinner Saika Ishaque has been a revelation and is currently the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 9 scalps to her name. In addition, Hayley Matthews is the joint 3rd highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 6 wickets. While the pacers were rather quiet in the first two matches, managing only 3 wickets, Isabelle Wong stepped up in the last match as she grabbed 3 wickets and would come into this match in good spirits.
