Former England captain Nasser Hussain was absolutely livid after Joe Root's side collapsed in the 2nd innings against New Zealand. England was reduced to 122/9 on Day 3 of the second Test at Edgbaston as none of the batters could survive or even show some fight as Kiwi bowlers looked all over them.
Hussain, at the end of day 3, questioned England's batting technique and approach and asked them to look at New Zealand batters on how they are supposed to play.
"There seems to have been a reinvention of the wheel out there with batting. Techniques out there that everyone else who has played the game before - they are all wrong and we are right. We're going to have these odd little techniques, we're going to have the bat coming across it, we're going to stand funny, we're going to swing outside our off-stump because everyone else in the history of the game - Viv Richards, you are wrong, and we are right," Hussain said on Sky Sports.
