Union Home Minister Amit Shah: BCCI president Mithun Manhas on Monday praised India’s differently-abled cricketers for their inspiring campaign in the United Kingdom, describing the team’s journey as a reflection of resilience, determination and an unwavering passion for the sport after meeting the players.
Manhas met the Indian Mixed Disability Men’s Cricket Team in the national capital alongside Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia. The interaction followed India’s successful seven-match India-England Men’s Mixed Disability T20I Series 2026, which the visitors won 4-3.
The BCCI president said the meeting also offered an opportunity to hear directly from the players about their experiences during the tour and to witness their commitment to the game.
