Kings XI Punjab will play their next match on 27 September against Rajasthan Royals at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The last match played here between Chennai Super Kings & Rajasthan Royals saw a total of 416 runs being scored.

One of the reasons is the short boundaries in the Sharjah ground. KXIP head coach Anil Kumble said that they have to assess the conditions first and then adjust accordingly.

"All the players are aware of the boundaries, we have practiced here a few times in Sharjah. At the end of it, you need to bowl in good areas, if you bowl in good areas you still mean business" felt Kumble.

On asked about the bowling plans, the former leg spinner said that the margin of error in bowling is very minimal and bowling in good areas will be the key.

"It is something where batsmen will enjoy batting, so in bowling, the margin of error is very minimal, hopefully, we will be able to do that."

The Kings XI Punjab bowlers have been in good touch led by Mohammad Shami. 19-year-old Ravi Bishnoi has impressed everyone with his leg-spin in this season.
