T20 WC 12th Match: Sri Lanka Register An Effortless 8 Wicket Win Against Against Facile Scotland

Sri Lanka, who were chasing a feeble score of 45, were able to register a 8 wicket win in 7.1 overs. For Sri Lanka, opener Kusala Perera scored an unbeaten 33 off 24 balls with 6 boundaries to ensure the win for his team. With this win, Sri Lanka have finished first in Group A and will now compete in Group 1 in the Super 12 group alongwith West Indies, Bangladesh, England, South Africa & Australia. 

For Netherlands, Brandon Glover and Paul van Meekern picked up 1 wicket each but the score was just too low to defend. Netherlands were already eliminated from the World Cup and have finished last in Group A of Round 1 with 0 wins in 3 matches. 

In the first innings, Sri Lankan bowlers dismantled Netherlands batting & restricted them at a score of just 44 runs. For Sri Lanka, Kumara & Hasaranga picked up 3 wickets each.
