Ireland's Paul Stirling has scored 2,660 runs in 97 matches with an average of 30.22 and striking at 135.92. Stirling has registered 20 fifties and a century in his T20I career with the highest score of 115*.


#4. Aaron Finch (2,678 runs)

Australia's world cup-winning captain is placed 4th on the list with 2,676 runs to his name in 86 matches, averaging 35.21 at a strike rate of 146.22. Finch has smacked 2 centuries and 15 half-centuries in his T20I career, with a top score of 172.


#3. Rohit Sharma (3,237 runs)

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is in the 3rd position on this list with 3,237 runs in 120 matches. Sharma averages 35.21 while striking at 140.86, and has 4 centuries to his name in his T20I career, most by anyone on this list. Apart from this, he has scored 26 fifties with a  top score of 118. 


#2. Virat Kohli (3,244 runs)

Former Indian captain stands just a few runs away from Sharma, with 3,244 runs in 96 matches. However, Kohli's average is above all with a magnificent 51.49, with a strike rate of 137.86. Kohli remains century-less in this format but has 29 fifties with a top score of 94*.


#1. Martin Guptill (3,299 runs)

Former New Zealand batter Martin Guptill stands atop this list, 55 runs ahead of Rohit Sharma, 3,299 runs in 112 matches. Guptill averaged 32.66 in his career with a strike rate of 136.71 and has 2 centuries and 20 fifties to his name in T20Is.
