13th August (CRICKETNMORE) - Sri Lanka were 214/5 at stumps on Day 1 of the third test against Australia at Sinhalese Sports Club Ground in Colombo. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat. The hosts lost five wickets for 55 runs before lunch but a fighting century partnership from Dhananjaya de Silva and Dinesh Chandimal helped Sri Lanka to recover on the close of day's play.
