Wolvadaart continued along with Sune Luus for another 37 runs but Kaur struck again to get the South African opener out for 80 including 11 fours.

Marizanne Kapp contributed another 32 runs and added 47 runs with Mignon du Preez before getting runout that again involved Harmanpreet. Chloe Tryon quickly scored 17 off 9 to get South Africa to a run-a-ball chase.

South Africa required seven in the last over and Deepti Sharma was asked to do the job for India. Trisha Chetty got runout on the second ball but Preez was still at strike.

On the fifth ball, Preez tried to go over the long-on but got caught. Just when Indians started to celebrate, the umpire signaled that Deepti had overstepped the crease and it was a no-ball. The equation went down to one from one and Preez hit a boundary to send the Indian team packing.

Earlier, Half-centuries from Smriti Mandhana, Mithali Raj, and Shafali Verma helped India score 274/7.

India opted to bat first and got off to a terrific start scoring 68 in the first ten overs. Shafali Scored 53 off 46 balls with the help of eight fours before getting runout. Yastika Bhatia got out cheaply for two.

Mandhana and Mithali added 80 runs for the third wicket. Smriti scored 71 in 84 balls before Chloe Tryon grabbed a brilliant catch to get her out.

Harmanpreet Kaur looked at her aggressive best as she continued with the momentum along with Mithali, who scored 68 in 84 balls.

Kaur's 48 helped India finish at 274 as South Africa picked late wickets for India to get the final flourish.
