Chasing a target of 135 runs for victory, Barpeta overcame early hiccups to wrap up the proceedings in 19.1 overs, thanks to opener Saurav's 63 not out off 53 balls, which included six boundaries and a six.
He was well supported by middle-order batter Abhilash Maurya, who scored a crucial 37 off 29 deliveries with three fours and a hit over the fence. The duo stitched together a decisive 74-run partnership for the fifth wicket to steer their side to victory and book their spot in the title clash.
