DC vs RR IPL 2022: Sanju Samson was entrusted by Rajasthan Royals after he was retained for 14 crores INR ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. RR have been in an impeccable form in the 2022 season of the IPL, and Sanju played a captain's knock as he smacked 46 runs in 19 balls against Delhi Capitals. 

Coming out to bat at #3, in the 16th over when the score already read 155/1. In form, Buttler was at the other end smacking his second consecutive and third century of the season. Samson smacked 5 fours and 3 sixes with a strike rate of 242.11.

Samson provided excellent finishing as he just took 19 balls, smacking everything in his way and scoring 46 runs in 19 balls, and coming back unbeaten. Rajasthan Royals consequently posted 222 runs for a loss of 2 wickets in 20 overs. 

Talking about the match, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant won the toss & opted to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals in the 34th match of IPL 2022. Buttler and Padikkal added 155 runs in 15 overs to set up a huge total. Padikkal was dismissed by Khaleel Ahmed after scoring 54 runs in 35 balls, while Buttler scored his second consecutive ton and powered RR to 222/2 in 20 overs. For DC, Khaleel Ahmed & Lalit Yadav picked up 1 wicket each. This match is being played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
