A 90 made in a winning cause is better than 100 in a losing one says Samuels

Marlon Samuels stars in the West Indies four-wicket win over Australia. His special knock came at the right time when his team needed it. He was later awarded man of the match for his brilliant 92 from 87 balls.  During post match presentation ceremony, he shared his views on the innings and West Indies team.

"A 90 made in a winning cause is better than 100 in a losing one. Hopefully, I'll continue to make runs against Australia", he said in post match presentation ceremony.

About his Team

He said that its very important for his side to continue winning as a team. "We're gelling together as a team and in the future it will be a very difficult team to beat", he said.
