RR vs PBKS, 4th Match IPL 2021 Probable Playing XI: Battle Of Two Top-Orders

In the 4th match of IPL 2021, Rajasthan Royals(RR) will take on Punjab Kings(PBKS) in their season opener on 12th April, Monday. 

Rajasthan Royals have a solid top-order consisting of Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, and Sanju Samson. The middle-order looks a bit inexperienced which will most likely be consisting of Manan Vohra, Shivam Dube while the finishing will be handled by Chris Morris and Rahul Tewatia. 

Morris will be the key player with the ball, especially in the absence of Jofra Archer. Andrew Tye or Mustafizur Rahman could be the third seamer along with Jaydev Unadkat. 

Punjab Kings too have a strong batting line-up starting with Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul followed by Chris Gayle and Nicholas Pooran. Mandeep Singh has been very impactful in whatever role he's given and Shahrukh Khan, who loves to strike the ball from the start of the innings, is well suited for a finishers' role. 

Jhye Richardson is a fantastic pick since he could contribute with both bat as well as the ball. Ravi Bishnoi had a great season last time and could be the X-factor for PBKS. Mohammad Shami will be returning after an injury break will be the key during the powerplay overs. 

Rajasthan Royals have an upper hand against Punjab Kings in past. But PBKS is looking more strong and balanced than RR and has a good chance to start their season with a win.
