India skipper Rohit Sharma has said with the team adopting a more aggressive batting approach, he and the team management are trying to give as much "freedom" and "clarity" to players about the new strategy as possible.
The India captain spoke about how the squad is preparing mentally and physically for the upcoming challenges of the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup with the emphasis on complete transparency and giving players a clear message.
"If the message is clear from the captain and the coach about where the team is trying to head, then the individuals will definitely try to do that. For that to happen they need freedom and clarity and that's what we are trying to do. We are trying to give them as much freedom as possible," said Sharma on Star Sports show Follow the Blues.
