India team is currently at number three on the points table as they won the first game against South Africa and the second against West Indies was tie due to rain. New Zealand is placed at number 6 with one win and a loss in two matches played so far.

Against South Africa, India Legends led by Sachin Tendulkar batted first and scored a gigantic 217/4 in 20 overs. Stuart Binny played a top-notch inning of 82 runs in 42 balls with 5 fours and 6 sixes. Yusuf Pathan (35 runs of 15 balls; 1x4, 4x6) and Suresh Raina (33 runs of 22 balls) also impressed with the bat.

India Legends bowled well and stopped SA Legends to 156/9 which resulted the home team an easy win. Rahul Sharma (3/17) was the leading wicket taker for India. Munaf Patel and Pragyan Ojha scalped two wickets each and one-one wicket went in the account of Irfan and Yuvraj.

On the other hand, New Zealand after losing the first match, won the last game against Bangladesh by eight-wickets. The match was interrupted by rain and was reduced to 11 overs per inning. Bangladesh came to bat first against and scored a decent 98/3 in 11 overs. 

New Zealand bowlers went handy as only Kyle Mills (2/11 in 2 overs) and Hamish Bennett (1/20 in 3 overs) were able to take wickets.

Chasing a modest target of 99 in 11 overs New Zealand took 9.3 overs and two wickets down to finish the game. Dean Brownlie (31 runs of 19 balls), skipper Ross Taylor (30 runs of 17 balls) and Jamie How (26 of 17) were the run getters for NZ L.
