India will take on New Zealand in the 28th match of the T20 World Cup in Dubai on Sunday night. There's a lot of stake for both the teams going into the match, which is virtually an eliminator.

Both India and New Zealand lost their first game of the super 12 stage against Pakistan and will have to win the rest of the league matches to confirm their place in the semi-finals.

While Indians were already fighting to win an ICC match against New Zealand since 2007, the team will need to take care of yet another jinx that has been around the team in the big tournaments - Richard Kettleborough.

Kettleborough is the same umpire who has been there in every Indian defeat since 2014, be it the T20 World Cup Final against Sri Lanka, World Cup Semi-Final in 2015, T20 World Cup Semi-Final in 2016, Champions Trophy Final in 2017, World Cup Semi-Final in 2019, and World Test Championship Final in 2021.

The Richard Kettleborough Jinx will be there in the mind of every Indian cricket team supporter if not in minds of the players. But it is for sure that India will be fighting against two jinxes and a place in the semi-finals today against New Zealand.
