23rd September (CRICKETNMORE) - Australia team is getting ready for the ODI series against South Africa. According to star all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, the Australians are well prepared for the series, and their pace attack can be led well by John Hastings.

“Whilst we’ve got not much experience at international level, the guys deserve to be here and I’m very excited to see how we all go and we’ve certainly come here to win the series,” Marsh said. “I can’t wait to get into it. Obviously, we’ve got John Hastings who’s going to be the leader of the attack with a wealth of experience and who over the past 12 months he’s been behind Starcy has been our best one-day bowler. So, I still feel like we’ve got a fair bit of experience in the line-up and it’s going to be good fun.”

On Reverse swing as a weapon in South Africa, Marsh said “I think the big thing is if we can get the ball reversing in the last 10 overs of the innings over here. As batsmen, we know that if the ball is moving a little bit it’s obviously a lot more challenging at the end of an innings.”For me, certainly, in one-day games, it’s about keeping it simple and trying to execute my plans every ball. And it will be nice to see the ball bouncing above waist height most of the time,” he said.
