Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore is a crafty left-arm spinner hailing from Tamil Nadu. Sai Kishore's performances in the recent domestic season have made him the talk of the town that even the Indian team couldn't resist picking him in the squad. 

Let's take a look at some interesting facts, trivia, and records of Sai Kishore: 

1) R Sai Kishore was born on 6th November 1996 in Tamil Nadu's Madipakkam. He is only the second player from this place, after Vijay Shankar, to get selected for IPL.

2) Sai Kishore is a Tamil Nadu Premier League(TNPL) product. His breakout season was 2017 when he was the leading wicket-taker of TNPL with 17 wickets. 

3) The left-arm spinner made his first-class debut in the 2017-18 season for Tamil Nadu. Sai Kishore was the leading wicket-taker in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy with 22 dismissals in six matches. 

4) Sai Kishore is a huge R Ashwin fan and even shared the room with his idol in the Tamil Nadu dressing room. However, Kishore was involved in an ugly on-field spat with N Jagadeesan during TNPL. Ashwin too was at the batting end and instantly classed Kishore for his behavior. 

5) He attended several trials for IPL franchises and got picked for Chennai Super Kings(CSK) in the 2020 season. 

6) In June 2021, Sai Kishore was picked among the five net bowlers who toured with the Indian team to Sri Lanka and was later added to the T20I squad after a few players tested positive during the tour. In 2022, he was picked as a standby player for India vs West Indies series.

7) Sai Kishore has played 17 first-class matches in which he has picked 48 wickets. In 33 List A games, the left-arm spinner has taken 54 wickets while in T20s he has got 43 scalps in 38 matches.
