Hilfenhaus and Bollinger gave early blows to Punjab, but Maxwell started the counter-attack which was continued by Perera and skipper Bailey.Thissara Perera was adjudged as the man of the match for his allround performance.

Perera has taken to his role beautifully. We are missing a few guys but the young guys are filling their roles well. The bowlers did an outstanding job to restrict Hobart. It is great to see familiar faces. 

Tim Paine: Disappointed to have lost the game. We didn't bat well. We picked early wickets but wasn't enough. We have pretty good players in bench who can come in depending on the conditions.
