In what turned out to be an extraordinary 15 balls, Pat Cummins smacked the joint-fastest fifty in IPL to power Kolkata Knight Riders to a five-wicket win over Mumbai Indians in the 14th match of the IPL 2022.

Chasing 162, KKR had an ordinary start, losing two wickets - Ajinkya Rahane and Shreyas Iyer - inside the powerplay and only managed 35 runs. Venkatesh Iyer dropped anchor to take the game deep.
