Karachi, March 12 - Pakistan left-arm spinner Imad Wasim has been declared stable after suffering a mild concussion while taking a catch during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) game between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars.

The incident took pace during Sunday's PSL match when Karachi skipper Imad ran backwards from mid off to take a catch of Sohail Khan. While he did complete a superb catch, he fell down and hit his head on the ground.

He lay there for quite some time and got the attention of the medical staff before being stretched off the field. He is expected to be under observation for the next 24 hours.

"Imad Wasim is stable and as per protocol under observation for next 24 hours. He had a mild concussion and his vitals are fine," the PSL's twitter handle read.

Englishman Ravi Bopara stood in as the skipper in his absence.
