Clean sweep by England in T20 series

30 November, Sharjah (CRICKETNMORE) -England beat Pakistan in super over to clean sweep T20 series 3-0. Chris Jordan bowled fantastically in the super over keeping Pakistan down to just three runs and even clean bowled Umar Akmal off the final delivery.

Toss : Eoin Morgan won the toss and opted to bat first.

Venue : Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium, Sharjah

England Innings :  James Vince (46) and Chris Woakes (37) help visitors to post 154/8 in 20 overs.  For Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi (2/19) and Sohail Tanvir (2/36) claimed two wickets each. While Aamer Yamin, Anwar Ali and Shoaib Malik picked up one wicket each.

Pakistan Innings :  Brilliant innings from Shoaib Malik (75) and small innings from skipper Shahid Afridi (29) help Pakistan to tied the match. Pakistan sent Shahid Afridi and Umar Akmal to face the super over. For England Chris Jordan bowled a fantastic over conceding a mere three runs and taking a wicket. Visitors required just 4 to win the tie and Skipper Eoin Morgan walked out with Jos Buttler to get the job done.
