Navi Mumbai, Oct 24 (IANS) Two goals in the second half were enough to propel NorthEast United FC to second position in the Indian Super League (ISL) standings, behind Atletico de Kolkata, when they defeated a nine-man Mumbai City FC 2-0 at the D.Y. Patil Stadium here Friday.
Kondwani Mtonga's finish in the 57th minute and Felipe de Castro's strike in stoppage time gave the visiting team their first away win of ISL.
The opening phase saw both teams fighting for possession but Mumbai City began to control possession and take the attack to NorthEast United.
