Kane Williamson will be back as captain of the team. He has had a good IPL season, suggesting that he is fresh and has probably shrugged off the dust he might have had during the lockdown. With Tom Latham and Ross Taylor also in the line-up, the middle order looks strong. 

Mitchell Santner will likely play since the pitch offers something for the spinners as well. Trent Boult's addition to the bowling line-up will add more strength. Kyle Jamieson had a terrific debut series against India earlier this year and has been in good touch ever since.
